If the company is having certified Standing orders and there must be provision for engagement of Trainee , then no PF contributions during training period. 

If the company does not have certified Standing orders , then as per Section 12-A of Standing orders Act, the model Standing order of that State will be applicable . If there is provision for keeping trainee , then company can keep trainee , no PF contributions during training period. 

If Apprentice is recommended by the State Government, then , no PF contributions for training period. 

No PF Contributions for Summer trainees , recommended by the School or Institution.
